AMENDED APPOINTMENTS SYSTEM WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

            Telephone Appointments Only

We need to contain the spread of Coronavirus and decrease the numbers of people visiting surgeries. This is to help to  reduce the risk to patients and staff          

Therefore, we are moving to a fully booked appointment system and there will be no open surgeries. Please  do not just turn up at the surgery expecting to be seen. 

When you call the surgery you will be asked specific questions regarding coronavirus. If you have any related symptoms or contact you will be asked to stay at home and will get a phone call from the GP.

You will also be asked to give a few brief details of your health query and if a telephone appointment would be suitable. Reception staff will offer a telephone appointment with the GP in the first instance.

Please ensure you do not bring paper prescriptions to the surgery as these will not be filled. Instead please call the surgery and leave a prescription on the messaging service by pressing 1 when instructed.

You can be reassured that if you need to be seen you will still be seen.

We are currently experiencing telephone issues with our main line into Tobermory Surgery. Please be assured that we are working to get this fixed as soon as possible and the issue has been reported to the relevant department. You are still able to contact the surgery on the following two lines:

Prescription Line

Following a previous fault with this line, please be assured it is now up and running and the issue has been resolved. You are now able to continue leaving prescriptions on this line.
